Vincent Care’s “Support with Dignity” philosophy is dedicated to individuals experiencing long-term homelessness, mental illness and the disadvantaged. Mental illness and homelessness can have devastating personal, social and economical effects on individuals in our community.
It is commonly accepted that one in five Australians will have a mental illness at some time during their lives. Mental illness is also closely linked with homelessness. The high standard and quality of Vincentcare services assists individuals in their recovery and rehabilitation journey. Vincentcare is a Special Work of the St Vincent de Paul Society.
Celeste Corporation is currently working alongside Vincent Care to help them in their plight to aid those that are disadvantaged. 4 days a week a volunteer from Vincent Care gives up their time to collect hot and cold food in the kindly loaned Jiffy Van
